What emerged?
Clear evidence that the future of marketing belongs to teams who balance intelligence and empathy, data and creativity, precision and experimentation.

Customer-Centricity & Experience: Loyalty That Lasts
Day 2’s B2C Marketing Stage spotlighted the shift from transactional touchpoints to emotionally intelligent journeys. Sessions on Loyalty and Customer-Driven Growth emphasised the importance of designing journeys that feel seamless and HUMAN.
A standout reminder came from Gareth Mellor, Senior Vice President, Global Marketing & Comms, Downtown Music, who distilled the heart of modern brand building:
“Be prepared to kill your darlings at any point.” A powerful challenge to teams to abandon legacy ideas when they no longer serve the customer.
Data, AI & Personalisation: Turning Insight into Impact
With AI, automation, and first-party data dominating today’s marketing landscape, the summit explored how organisations can turn technological potential into business reality.Ramneet Hora Julka, Head of Data & Analytics CoE, Vodafone Intelligent Solutions, reframed the purpose of data beautifully: “Use data to show up in life’s moments that matter, not every moment that exists. That’s how you turn attention into connection that lasts.” On the B2C side, Lucy Norman, Product Lead, MarTech & AdTech, The Very Group, highlighted the changing expectations of modern teams:“Review your in-house skills, the marketer of today must be tech and data savvy. Upskilling your team now will future-proof success.”

AI took centre stage on Day 2 at the B2C Marketing Stage. The session began with an audience poll to spark engagement and set the tone for an insightful discussion on AI and customer experience (CX).
Integration, Automation & Team Alignment: The Real Operational Advantage
For many organisations, the challenge isn’t acquiring more technology, it’s extracting value from what they already have. Several speakers offered pragmatic, actionable approaches to this: Davide Gaeta, Global Head of Digital Marketing, Chubb Group Security, stressed the importance of building with intention: “Start small but build with scale in mind… Make one journey bulletproof, then replicate.”
On the B2B Stage, attendees examined Demand Generation, Sales and marketing alignment, CRM, and buyer-journey optimisation, all pointing toward a future where collaboration across teams is essential, not optional. Andrew Osgerby, Manager, B2B Marketing Operations, Deliveroo, encouraged experimentation before automation: “Test a process manually first, then automate what works.” Nick Peng, Head of CRM, Wise, reminded us that adoption matters more than architecture:“The best integration is one people will use.”

During the session, the panellists engaged the audience with a live word-cloud poll asking: ‘Where have you seen friction between sales and marketing?’ Interestingly, more than 75% of respondents selected attrition. The speakers then shared practical insights, discussing how they had addressed this challenge within their own organisations and successfully implemented tools to overcome it.
Throughout the summit, we continued to provide our signature mouth-watering lunch buffet, along with snacks and soft drinks throughout the day. Attendees also enjoyed networking drinks at the end of day one at Andaz just down the road and a private dinner at Pan Pacific Hotel. To help foster meaningful connections, we hosted in-summit roundtable discussions and dedicated breakout sessions covering key topics such as sustainability in marketing, paid media strategies, creative confidence, and ROI and measurement.

Most-used words across the two days?
TRUST, DATA, AI, CUSTOMER, BRAND, MARKETING.
A perfect summary of where the industry is heading.
One week before the summit, we hosted a networking meet-up for attendees and speakers to connect and build relationships before the main event. Held at a bar in Broadgate Circle, the evening was relaxed and enjoyable, with canapés and drinks provided throughout. The meet-up successfully generated excitement and anticipation for the summit.
In Summary: Trust the Data, Trust the Technology, but Above All, Trust the Customer
Across both days and all stages, one theme rose above the rest:
Technology is powerful, but customer understanding is transformative.

Thank you to every speaker, partner, and attendee who made this summit a standout success. With so many organisations hungry for innovation and so much creativity in the room, the momentum doesn’t end here.
