We’re excited to feature Jasper Fee, Director of Marketing Operations, Asia Pacific at Knight Frank, in our Amazing Speaker Interview series for The MarTech Summit Asia. With over a decade of experience spanning B2B, B2C, agency, SaaS, ecommerce, and real estate, Jasper brings a unique blend of strategic insight and hands-on technical knowledge. Often described as a “technical marketer,” he acts as the essential bridge between creative and technology teams. At this year’s summit, Jasper will join the Panel Discussion | [MarTech Convergence] Building A Growth-Ready MarTech Ecosystem for Asia’s Complex Markets, offering practical advice on integrating global platforms with local systems and how to simplify complexity without compromising impact.

Quick Q&A with Jasper Fee

Could you please give us a quick introduction of yourself?

I’m Jasper Fee, Marketing Operations Director, Asia Pacific at Knight Frank. I’ve been in Marketing for almost 12 years now, navigating through the full spectrum – B2B and B2C, in-house and agency, from ecommerce to SaaS and now Real Estate.

My peers often label me as a “technical marketer” – a bridge between the artists (creative teams) and the scientists (tech teams). In today’s landscape, where creativity relies on infrastructure and technology to scale, I believe that bridge is more critical than ever.

Why did you choose to participate in this summit?

I’ve been following The MarTech Summit for a while now, and it stands out as one of the few places where the ‘artists’ and ‘scientists’ of our industry truly collaborate. While I’m excited to learn from the other great minds, I’m also eager to share my experience. My aim is to offer practical and honest insights that the audience can take back to their teams immediately.

Integrating data sources and platforms can often get messy. What are some best practices or lessons you have learned in connecting global tools with local data, APIs, or CRM systems?

I’ve seen many teams jump into the technicality before clearly defining a strategic purpose. They often end up down a rabbit hole of complexity and integrating systems that didn’t need to talk to each other in the first place.

The important lesson I’ve learnt is to start with the question: “Do we really need to integrate everything?” In most cases, data hygiene and process clarity must happen before you even talk about the API. Sometimes, the best integration strategy is to simplify the stack and not connect everything.

What advice would you give to marketing leaders in traditional industries like real estate who are just beginning their MarTech transformation journey?

In traditional industries, MarTech is often viewed as a cost centre rather than a revenue generator. This usually happens when there is a misalignment in the People, Process, Technology triangle.

Think of it this way: Don’t buy a supercar (Technology) if your team only knows how to ride a bicycle (People), or if the roads are full of potholes (Process). It’s not always the technology’s fault; you have to upgrade the driver and pave the road before you buy the car.

Looking ahead to 2026, is there a professional or personal goal you are especially excited to pursue?

Professionally, we are undertaking a major platform migration this year, and I view it not just as a tech upgrade, but as a catalyst to drive better collaboration across the region.

Personally, I am a huge horology enthusiast (aka mechanical watch geek). I’m currently building a content platform and community brand to cultivate a deeper appreciation for the craft here in Singapore. It’s my way of keeping the ‘art’ alive in my own life!

Jasper’s clear and candid perspective cuts through the noise surrounding digital transformation. His belief that MarTech success hinges not only on tools but also on people and process is especially relevant for traditional industries just beginning their tech journey. As he continues to lead regional platform migration and foster collaboration across diverse markets, Jasper remains focused on one thing: building systems that work for the people who use them. We look forward to hearing his insights at The MarTech Summit Asia 2026, where his real-world experience will inspire marketers looking to navigate Asia’s complex, fast-changing digital landscape.
