Quick Q&A with Mirian Elides Rodrigues

Could you please give us a quick introduction of yourself?

I am the Digital & Tech Innovation Director with a passion for transforming how healthcare engages through technology. With over two decades of experience leading digital strategies in different industries (IBM, AB-Inbev, Essilor Luxottica, Pearson and GSK), connecting data, creativity, and emerging tech to deliver meaningful, personalised experiences. Known for building high-energy teams and driving real business impact, I will always bring a vision where technology simplifies, empowers, and humanises every interaction. My background is in technology, business transformation, and neuroscience.


Why did you choose to participate in The MarTech Summit Madrid?

To cultivate and create meaningful connections with peers, aiming to share and learn best practices in this constantly evolving world.


How do you see generative AI tools reshaping the way marketing content is created and delivered across global brands like GSK?

I see AI tools being used to enable a more meaningful personalisation, moving from customer centricity to life-centricity, where we can speak the language of our customer in a way that resonates with their needs.


Can you share an example of how generative AI has enhanced efficiency, personalisation, or engagement in your recent work?

Our employees have a massive use and adoption of GenAI due to one of our programs named – AI boost yourself. With this initiative, we invite employees from different departments and areas to apply and share real use cases on how GenAI impacts their daily routines. We have been able to better engage with our clients, powered by GenAI, to optimise the time we spend analysing and preparing reports to be more efficient in our auditing process and many other things in a very democratised way, where decentralisation and empowerment are key.


What excites you most about the future of AI-powered creativity in marketing?

It’s moving beyond “one-size-fits-all” to real-time, personalised interactions. AI allows us to create dynamic brand experiences that adapt to each person’s needs. It’s not about campaigns anymore — it’s about meaningful conversations. In this new era, personalisation and interaction lead the way.
