2. A Stage That Delivered

2.1 Knowledge shared from the stage

PANEL DISCUSSION | [OMNICHANNEL MARKETING] Integrating Online and Offline Channels for Seamless Customer Journeys

The day’s most interactive session explored how brands can connect digital, in-store and mobile touchpoints without losing sight of the customer experience. The discussion moved beyond technology alone, focusing on shared goals, integrated workflows, meaningful measurement and the emotional side of loyalty.

Audience questions focused on the real KPI for omnichannel, connecting online browsing with offline purchasing, balancing personalisation and privacy, overcoming data silos and prioritising resources when budgets are limited.

Rachel Kwan  |  Head of Marketing, Arçelik Hitachi Home Appliances“O2O integration connects data and moments – because seamless journeys are measured in data, but loyalty is built in feelings.”

Madhu Motwani  |  Vice President, Ecommerce, Asia Pacific, PVH Corp.“Align on the goals, the cohorts you are targeting and the experience you want customers to have throughout their journey with your brand.”

Wilson Wong  |  Director, Marketing, Price.com.hk | Lead Panellist “Integration, integration and integration. Make good use of data and new technology to connect every channel and customer touchpoint.”

FIRESIDE CHAT | [SOCIAL COMMERCE] From Scrolls to Sales: Turning Social Engagement into Local Spend in Hong Kong

Stella Lai of Hilti Hong Kong and Adele Wong of Pineapple Bakery joined Lin Duan to examine how social engagement can move beyond awareness and become measurable local spend. The session connected creators, viral moments and platform activity with foot traffic, conversion, CRM and loyalty.

The audience asked about finding the right influencers, creating sustainable value after a viral moment, measuring success, using AI across the journey from scroll to sale and connecting social activity with CRM and loyalty programmes.

  • Social reach matters most when it creates a clear path to action, whether that is a purchase, store visit, repeat engagement or stronger customer relationship.
  • Local relevance comes from understanding how Hong Kong audiences discover, share and act, rather than simply importing a global social playbook.
  • Measurement must connect engagement metrics with commercial outcomes and longer-term customer value.

Brand Experience Spotlight

Engagement metrics to highlight

  • 63 live Q&A interactions were recorded across the day.
  • The Omnichannel Marketing panel generated the highest number of questions with 17, followed by Social Commerce with 12.
  • Questions consistently returned to practical implementation: data integration, governance, attribution, customer trust and measurable business impact.
