The MarTech Summit successfully returned to Bangkok on 7 October 2025, bringing together an impressive gathering of over 300 senior marketing leaders, 30+ visionary speakers, and 12 leading MarTech exhibitors. Hosted once again at the elegant Hotel Nikko Bangkok, the summit delivered a day filled with inspiring discussions, innovation-driven insights, and meaningful connections among marketing professionals from Thailand and across Asia. 

We were honoured to welcome executives from leading organisations including UOB Thailand, Agoda, Adobe, True Corporation, Lotus’s, Reckitt, Mastercard, Syngenta, Krungthai Bank, Kimberly-Clark, NielsenIQ and Valvoline, among others. 

The event fostered an environment where senior marketers, digital innovators, and technologists explored the evolving role of MarTech in driving customer-centric growth.

Summit Overview 

The 2025 Bangkok edition focused on AI-Driven Personalisation, Customer Retention, and Next-Gen Engagement, structured around a diverse mix of panel discussions, keynote presentations, fireside chats, and lightning talks. The agenda reflected the industry’s most urgent challenges and opportunities—hyper-personalisation, real-time decisioning, storytelling in a multi-platform world, AI automation, and Gen Z engagement

Over 68% were from organisations with over 1000 employees 


Key Themes and Insights

1. Personalisation and Customer Retention 

The summit opened with a panel discussion on “Strengthening Engagement for Long-Term Success” The speakers explored how data and empathy intersect to drive sustainable engagement and loyalty.  

  • Peeruntorn Vannaprasert, Head of Retail Digital, Executive Director, UOB Thailand emphasised that successful personalisation begins with empathy—understanding customers beyond data points, anticipating their needs, and delivering value at the right time. 
  • Srikanth Lanka, Regional Head of Marketing, APAC & EMEA, Aditya Birla Chemicals, noted that data-driven personalisation is only powerful when it empowers teams to innovate alongside customers. 
  • Austi Nurani, SEA Data Driven Marketing Program Manager, Mars , shared that marketers must use data not only to sell more, but to show customers that they are truly seen and understood. 

Together, they highlighted that loyalty is rooted in empathy, agility, and authenticity—values that remain timeless in an age of automation 


2. AI-Powered Decisioning and Content Innovation 

AI took centre stage with Ming Fai Chak, Director, Solution Consulting, Asia, Adobe, delivering a keynote on “Marketing in the Age of AI”, showcasing how Generative and Agentic AI can empower marketers to personalise at scale while maintaining brand coherence. 

Later, Kao Sutthikiat Sutthitham, Head of Thailand Enterprise, Braze, challenged the conventional use of A/B testing in his keynote “Agentic AI Decisioning for Modern Marketers”, advocating for real-time adaptive decision-making powered by Agentic AI. 

Tim Charlesworth, MadTech Advisor, Customer Intelligence, SAS Institute, presented a Lightning Talk on “Lighthouse 360”, illustrating how an AI-powered 360° customer view can enhance loyalty, retention, and engagement. 


3. Storytelling in the Digital Era 

The Storytelling Panel captivated audiences with actionable perspective. 

Together, they explored how brands can remain authentic while adapting to fragmented digital ecosystems. 

  • Missy Yang, Country Manager, Garmin Thailand illustrated the power of authenticity, saying “Real stories come from real experiences and products that deliver.”
  • Swita Charanasomboon, Director of Marketing, Asia, Valvoline Global Operation,  stressed the importance of context: “Content is king, but context is also king.”
  • Melis Erdinç, Head of Digital Marketing, Arçelik Hitachi Home Appliance,  added that storytelling enhances memory retention—“Messages are 22 times more likely to be remembered when wrapped in a story.”

4. Real-Time Insights and Customer Experience 

The Customer Experience Panel, titled “Creating Value Through Every Customer Interaction,” brought together speakers from Agoda, Krungthai Bank, Mastercard, The 1. 

This was complemented by the fireside chat “Real-Time or Waste of Time? Getting the Engagement Strategy Right”, featuring Kasit Hoonpongsimanon, Head of Customer Platform, ttb Bank, and Vinnie Mistry, Partner Sales Director, Tealium
Their key message: not every moment is a real-time moment – success depends on identifying where speed meets relevance, while balancing scalability and governance. 


5. Next-Gen Marketing and the Future Consumer 

The closing panel, “Captivating the Next Generation of Consumers in Marketing” 

offered a forward-looking view on Gen Z and Gen Alpha behaviours, redefining loyalty, and platform-native discovery. 


Event Engagement and Networking

  • Over 30 one-on-one meetings were facilitated between sponsors and senior attendees, driving personalised business connections. 
  • Delegates engaged through live polling, interactive Q&As, and AI-driven networking recommendations, amplifying collaboration and insights. 
  • The summit recorded an exceptional 95% satisfaction rate from post-event surveys, with attendees praising the depth of content and diversity of speakers
