Across sessions, several themes emerged that marketers could implement:
Strong Data Foundations:
“To thrive in MarTech, ensure marketing teams rely on high-quality, well-documented data assets.” – Patrick Gunia, Senior Director, AI/ML, HelloFresh
Data was what came up continuously throughout the summit and was reflected in the results given here by the audience when as a poll question:

Tailored Marketing Automation:
“There’s no one-size-fits-all approach—customize your stack with tools like n8n, GPT/OpenAI API, and AppSmith.” – Philipp Eckert, Head of Marketing Automation, HeyJobs
We hosted a short in-summit roundtable where the audience were asked to discuss areas which have helped improve customer engagement and retention. Sharing here a few of the responses:

Customer Engagement & Retention:
“Loyal customers connect emotionally with brands, not just transactionally.” – Guneet Mast, Head of Performance Marketing & CRM, PUMA

MarTech connects marketing, commercial, and product teams by breaking silos and streamlining workflows to create seamless user journeys. However, securing resources remains a challenge, as leadership often overlooks its value—until something goes wrong.

Quotes:
Edwina Dendler, Chief Marketing Officer, Prismic – “AI agents are becoming true coworkers, not just tools. From automation to creative decision-making, interactions are shifting from prompts to dynamic conversations. While challenges like AI hallucination exist, those who integrate AI strategically will gain a competitive edge.”
Stefan Hock, Director, Performance Marketing & Media, ABOUT YOU – [Consent Monetisation] Unlocking ROI & Driving First-Party Data Innovation – “Be on top of the management of your Consent/Opt-In and CRM pools and use 1st party data to execute tailored experiences and campaigns. On the other hand, don’t overinvest in 1st party campaigns and allocate enough budget in non-consent related advertising channels or targeting. The walled gardens manage their own opt-ins and data usage very effectively and offer personalized ads without the need of consent and may be cheaper than a 1st party campaign. Be aware that missing consent on your side can still impact your measurement and your 3rd party optimization and implement tactics to cover that, e.g. Using SKAN measurement on iOS.”
Kathleen Burzycki, VP, Marketing & Strategy, Consumer Goods Adhesives, Henkel – “Start with the basics. See what you need, determine what is working for you and what will make an impact on decisions you make, and cultivate a stack that brings value. Having data for the sake of data, or because it’s “cool” …that novelty wears off!”
Networking and Private Events
Attendees enjoyed a vibrant drinks reception powered by Storyblok, followed by private dinners sponsored by Telesign and Siteimprove. Discussions centred on omnichannel personalized engagement and marketing analytics, all set against the backdrop of the Michelin-starred Hugo’s Restaurant on the 14th floor of the InterContinental.
