Could you please give us a quick introduction of yourself?

I’m Ahteram Uddin, Growth Director for Asia & MENA at Kahoot!. I focus on driving further adoption of our learning platform across schools, enterprises, and government clients, promoting the various innovative ways users can utilize Kahoot! as a tool for engagement, learning, and communication.



Why did you choose to participate in this summit?

I’m participating to explore how engagement-driven strategies can transform marketing and communication. Kahoot! shows how interactive learning tools can create meaningful connections with audiences, making campaigns more impactful and memorable across Asia.



What’s the most surprising insight you’ve uncovered about consumer or institutional behaviour in one of your local markets that impacted your MarTech choices?

We discovered that even in tech-forward markets, adoption is often driven less by specific features and more by how engaging and interactive the overall user experience is. This insight led us to prioritise gamified collaborative experiences and live engagement as central pillars in our marketing strategy.



How do you adapt go-to-market strategies when transitioning from enterprise or government segments to direct consumer education markets?

We shift from largely relationship-driven approaches to engagement-driven strategies, focusing on localized content, easy onboarding, and interactive experiences. The goal is to create a seamless journey that captures attention, drives usage, and makes learning enjoyable for every learner, irrespective of where and how they access our platform.



Looking ahead, what innovations or shifts in marketing technology do you think will be most game-changing for EduTech companies in Asia and MENA over the next 3 years?

AI-powered personalisation, truly interactive content, and analytics-driven insights will redefine how we consider engagement. EdTech companies that integrate real-time gamified learning and adaptive marketing will see the biggest impact on both learner outcomes and brand growth.
